We are excited about our “Camp Meeting” with Dr. Larry Brown from Marion Ave. Baptist Church in Washington Iowa. Make your plans to visit during these dates and hear a message that you will not soon forget from the Word of God. The dates of our meeting are Oct 19- 21 2009, with service times each evening at 7 P.M.

The world today is a very scary place. We have threats of nukes from N. Korea , and the ongoing strife in the Middle East. We wonder why ?  We ask ourselves,  why can’t humanity just “Co-Exist” with each other? The answer to this question boggles the minds of the most brilliant men.

Yet there  is a reason the worlds unrest, strife and violence. Mans sins are the root of all his troubles. Now this may seem to many people  a generic responce from a Christian Pastor, yet sin is the very root of all the troubles of humanity.  In every circumstance of life, from the White House, to our house,  from North Korea to Iran ,the  issue of  sin is the trouble with mankind. 

We should pray for our leaders, and for one another . Keep your eye upon the eastern sky, lift up your head, redemption drawth nigh!  There is hope today, Jesus is coming soon!

Someone asked why do you go to the expense and trouble to send buses out from your church?
The 1st reason is the love of Christ compels us to send buses to bring in all that will come to the house of God.
Jesus is our movational factor! Because of what He did for us on Calvary, it is the least we can do for Him!
Secondly, I believe it is BIBLICAL! We have a comand to fulfill called “The Great Commission”. To go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. All the world means every place on planet earth. We help many missionaries in countries far away,yet there is a field of service here at home too. So we must do all we can here at home to reach every person possible. The Bus Ministry is one of the many ways we take part in the Great Commission.
The third reason we send buses is God has saved many who ride our buses and I believe He will save many more.
The fourth reason we send buses out from our church is the blessing it is to work on a bus route. You have no idea what a joy it is unless you have experienced it for yourself!
The fifth reason: when this life is all over, and we stand before the throne, I want to hear Him say “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

There you have it; five good reasons to send buses out from your church!
